Basic and advanced obedience training is designed to establish and promote a proper relationship between you and your dog.

Our methods are fast, effective, and easy to learn. And because our techniques utilize your dog's natural drives and instincts, your dog will learn commands faster and easier than with other less behavior-oriented methods. Our approach also helps your dog respond, respect, and bond to you more readily.

Foundation Training - The creation of a solid core or foundation of respect from your dog to you.  Once your dog fully respects you, the problems you are having with your dog will for the most part be gone and whatever small problems that still remain will be easily addressed at that time.

Foundation Training - Level I - Basic Obedience

On Leash, we teach all of the following:

·         Sit, Down, Come

·         Walk on loose leash

·         Stay - 2 hour duration

·         Distraction Proofing

·         Elimination of Common Behavior Problems

Although Level I is an on leash program, it also includes off leash control in familiar, confined areas such as in your home or fenced yard.

Foundation Training - Level II - Advanced Obedience

Off Leash, we teach all of the following:

·         Sit, Down, Come

·         Walk on loose leash

·         Stay - 2 hour duration

·         Advanced Distraction Proofing

·         Elimination of Common Behavior Problems

This is the ultimate in obedience control for your dog. It doesn't matter how far the dog is away from you or how big the distraction is. If your dog can hear you, your dog will obey instantly, happily, and on the first command.

Example:

You and your dog, Fido, are at the park. Fido is 100 yards away from you across a big field. All of a sudden a deer jumps out and Fido is in a full speed chase after the deer, headed for for a busy street before you ever even notice.

With Level II training, all you have to do is shout (so Fido can hear you 100 yards away) "Fido, Come" and Fido will slam on the brakes and happily run right back to you.
